Monks piece is the home of Marston St. Lawrence cricket club (M.S.L.CC). The pavilion and ground facilities are among the best if not the best within the South Northants league.

The strong blend of youth and community is a vital element to the club, providing the backbone to the social events that are organised. M.S.L.CC has established itself over the years to become an outstanding village cricket club for the parishes of Marston St. Lawrence and Greatworth.

There are two senior teams, a mid-week team and four junior teams (U17s, U15s, U13s and U11s). The club is a member of the South Northants cricket league with the 1st XI team currently in the premier league and the 2nd XI team currently in division 4.
